Gianluca Marcianò
conductor
Italian conductor Gianluca Marcianò has been increasingly in demand since his operatic debut with Croatian National Opera in 2007. Praised in the Sunday Times for his “unfailingly theatrical and idiomatic conducting”, Marcianò has strong ties with the opera houses in Oviedo, Minsk, Tbilisi and Yerevan, and within the UK, English National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Longborough Opera and the English Chamber Orchestra.

Marcianò is currently Principal Conductor of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, Serbia. He is also Artistic Director of the Al Bustan Festival in Beirut, where he has conducted works including Cherubini's Médée, Rossini's Stabat Mater and Berlioz' La Mort de Cléopâtre. He is also founder and Artistic Director of the Festival Suoni dal Golfo in Lerici and Principal Guest Conductor of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
Other recent engagements include Turandot and Nabucco for Ópera de Oviedo; La traviata, Madama Butterfly and La bohème for the Lithuanian National Opera; Tosca for Grange Park Opera; Nabucco for the Chelsea Opera Group; Elgar’s Symphony No. 1 in Tokyo; Pagliacci in Moscow and Ernani and La traviata for Lithuanian National Opera.

Violinist Haik Kazazyan has performed with orchestras such as Orchestra of The Mariinsky Theater, Orchestre National de France, Scottish Royal National Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Yu. Simonov, Moscow Symphony Orchestra named after E. Svetlanov, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra under P. Kogan, Prague Philharmonic orchestra, Dublin National Orchestra, Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, Katowice Radio Symphony Orchestra, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, ‘Musica Viva’ Orchestra, S.Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara Symphony Orchestras and many others.

The musicians Haik worked with as a soloist and chamber musician are conductors Valery Gergiev, Teodor Currentzis, Andrew Litton, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Alexander Liebreich, Alexander Lazarev, Constantine Orbelian, Jonathan Darlington, Ricardo Averbach, Alan Buribayev, Jac van Steen, David Brophy, Pavel Kogan, Alexander Polianichko, pianists Denis Matsuev, Freddy Kempf, Eliso Virsaladze, Aleksey Lubimov, Alex Kobrin, Ekaterina Mechetina, Rem Urasin, violinists Pavel Vernikov, Gordan Nikolitch, Boris Brovtsyn, cellists Natalia Gutman, Alexander Rudin, Alexander Bouzlov, Sergey Antonov, Boris Andrianov and many other great musicians of our generation.
He has performed in many great halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium) in New York, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, in Great, Small and Rakhmaninov Halls of Moscow Conservatory, in Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow), Victoria Hall in Geneve, Barbican Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, etc.
Haik has been a performer in many festivals like ‘Festival de musique’ of Sh. Mintz,(Switzerland), festival in Verbier, ‘Arts square’ of Yu. Temirkanov (S.-Petersburg), "Crescendo" of D. Matsuev, ‘Moscow Kremlin, Primavera Classica’(Moscow), Tongyeong International Music Festival (South Korea) and others.
His concerts have been broadcasted on TV channels 'Culture' (Moscow), Mezzo, Brusselles TV, Polskie Radio (Poland), BBC radio in London and others.
He studied at Sayat-Nova Music school in Yerevan with professor Levon Zoryan.
Then Haik studied with professor E. D. Grach and chamber music class with Alexander Bonduriansky in Moscow from 1996 to 2000 in Gnessin Music School, from 2000-2006 in Moscow Conservatory.
From 2006-2008 he studied with professor Itzhak Rashkovsky and chamber music with Levon Chilingirian at Royal College of Music in London.
Katya Tsukanova
VIOLIN
Katya was born in London to Russian parents in 2002. She started learning violin and piano at the age of 5. At the age of 9, Katya was accepted to the Royal College of Music (RCM) Junior Department.

Since 2012, Katya has trained with Professor Zakhar Bron, and has performed in his class concerts in Russia, Japan, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
Katya first performed in a public concert at the age of 5. In 2012, Katya won first place in her age group in the Golden Strings of America International String Competition (part of American Fine Arts Festival), and, along with other first place winners, she was offered an opportunity to perform at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York. Subsequently, Katya performed in Moscow with the leading Russian string orchestra Moscow Virtuozi (directed by Vladimir Spivakov) and with Orchestra of St John’s in London.
Katya performed in April 2017 with the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Nikoloz Rachveli, at the historic Shota Rustaveli Theatre in Tbilisi (Georgia); and again with the same orchestra in December of 2017 (when Katya performed maestro Giya Kancheli’s piece Instead of a Tango, for the first time in a new interpretation with the orchestra, as her encore). In September 2017, she performed with Orchestra Excellence conducted by Gianluca Marciano in Lerici, Italy, at the first international music Festival Suoni dal Golfo.
Most recently, in March 2018, Katya performed Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Serge Smbatyan, at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan (Armenia); and in August 2018, she was invited back to Suoni dal Golfo Music and Poetry Festival in Lerici (Italy), to perform J.S. Bach Concerto for two violins BWV 1043, with Karen Shakhgaldyan, conducted by Gianluca Marciano, as “the young musician of the festival”.
Katya is passionate about sharing her love of music and regularly performs in outreach concerts in East London schools, for children who otherwise are unlikely to have an opportunity to listen to live classical music.
Katya studies at Wycombe Abbey School in the UK, where she has been awarded a Music Scholarship.

State Orchestra "Academy of Soloists" is a leading musical group of the Republic of Kazakhstan, created in 1991 on the initiative of the world famous violinist, Artistic Director of the orchestra, the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan, winner of State awards, winner of International Competitions, Professor, rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts Ayman Mussakhajayeva. The Academy of Soloists is composed of highly professional musicians – winners of international competitions, possessing brilliant virtuoso technique, rich palette of sound, sense of the ensemble, developing the best world traditions of performing music, promoting the modern musical art of Kazakhstan at a high international level.
The orchestra performs works of different eras and styles, has the art of interpreting Baroque, Classical and modern music. National music is occupied a significant place in the work of the orchestra, orchestral arrangements of folk songs as well as the performance of works by modern Kazakh composers.
"Academy of Soloists" performs a special concert program with participation of leading conductors, on the recognition of the skills of Kazakhstan orchestra show performances under the guidance of such celebrated Maestro — I. Suk (Czech Republic), V. Capek (Austria), E. Shmider (USA), O. Schmidt-Gertenbach, J. von Bertoli (Germany), V. Fedoseyev, С. Orbelian, Rin Jong Yang (South Korea), D. Bartolozzi (Brazil), G. Emilsson (Iceland) and others. Cooperates with famous artists of Russia (Vladimir Spivakov, V. Tretyakov, T. Grindenko, M. Pletnev, I. Gavrysh, E. Grach, S. Kravchenko, R. Babayan, V. Sarajan etc.), Austria (Winischhofer, D. Schwarzberg), Israel (M. Kugel, A. Levitan), Germany (K. Blacher), USA (A. Slobodyanik), Norway (I. Shulman), Sweden (A. Stenberg), and others, developing international cultural links, and also leads an active concert and touring activities in the Republic and abroad. With great success performs in the best concert halls of Europe (Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Russia, France), Asia (South Korea, Turkey, Japan), America. Since 2016, the Academy of Soloists has been one of the creative teams of the state concert organization “Kazakhconcert” on the basis of the Central concert hall “Kazakhstan”. The orchestra regularly takes part in International Classical Music Festivals.
